So yeah let me know if you do and I shall continue to post. Life has been the same shit different day. We have moved into our new house and are getting settled slowly but surely my hockey team still sucks and I find it harder and harder to get motivated to go to the games... So leave me a comment if you actually read this site.
Some things never change like for example the Blue Jackets still suck. In fact they are the worst I have ever seen them. Yeah that bad. It really makes it hard to be a fan. I mean we have the talent and for whatever reason they are just not gelling well together.One day the defense does really well and the offence sucks. Next game it's just the opposite. Our poor goalie is always left out to dry. This kid has potential in fact a majority of the team does. It's just not happening for us. For whatever reason the Hockey Gods are just not happy with us. I mean the team has the whole town behind them. There are teams out there 5 times better than us and they have about 5 to 8 thousand show up for their games and we have about 16 thousand any given game. I mean the fans in C-bus would kill for a great team hell even a good team at this point but *sigh* the Hockey Gods are still not pleased with us. We fired the coach last week. Still waiting on a replacement not that I think it would make much difference we have had 4 coaches 3 coaches (going on 4) in the last five seasons. Thats just not a good number. I just wish someone could figure out what the hell the problem is and wave their magic wand and fix it. At least Nash seemed to have come out of his slump 2 games ago scoring 2 goals. I think sometimes they just get out there and try to hard and mess up even more for overdoing it. I don't know I just had to vent about it some since We pay our hard earned cash to go watch us lose and lose again. I have yet to be to a winning home game this season. The fans are not as willing to wave it off anymore with excuses like we are a new growing expansion team, oh we lost due to injuries. The home crowd is less and less forgiving even booing our team in their house and they know our patience is wearing thin. Always used to be sellout games the first season or so. Then a little less. This season I see many more empty seats. They should pay us to go there and watch the mess we call a hockey team. It's sad. Especially when your used to having the winning buckeyes. We just expect a lot and after five years we should be so much better than we are. We have the talent they have the support behind them so what gives?????
Well onto happier news The OHIO STATE BUCKEYES ONCE AGAIN ARE GOING TO THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME THIS YEAR. We once again beat our biggest rival the Michigan Wolverienes and had an undefeated season. I suppose if your not from Ohio you just have no clue how big Ohio state football is here. I mean there is so much scarlett and gray this time of year. There is nothing but Ohio state footbal here we live it and breath it.
Other things coming up for me soon ....... Gonna be moving soon. Not sure exactly when or where but it's gonna be soon. I am thinking it will def be in January. Time is running out sooooooo the week after thanksgiving the hubby and I are gonna be on vacation and we will be spending 3 or 4 of those days at least looking at houses. So wish us luck and hopefully we find something we both love. I am sooo gonna hate to move. I know it sounds crazy but it almost seems like we were just getting settled here. I mean yeah it's been five years but still sometimes it takes awhile. I hope to make it to PA on the vaca for a day or 2 to see my family. I have not seen most of the kids in over 2 years for 2 of them and a year ago for my other 2 nephews. I did recently see my neice twice this year. I still should try to go see them more often they are growing up so fast. Brian my first nephew just turned 16 this year it's hard to believe because it seems like yesterday he was my little baby boy my very first time being an aunt. My sister sent me pics of him and his little brother and he is so tall now probably taller than me. Thats good though at least he didn't get the shortness from my mom's side of the fam and neithier did I.
Work has been well .....................Work. It's the holiday season and today was a national holiday in C-bus the annual OSU- vs Mich game day. You would have thought it was thanksgiving or even Christmas as busy as it was today. Next is turkey day then the big one Christmas. Every Sat that is an OSU game day is busy but today was the mother of them all. We are slowly getting things together it's just taking time. I was hoping it would go faster but it's not. I know everyone is trying and it's noone's fault it's just the way it's going right now. The right things are not selling and it seems when we do make a dent in something well guess what there is a truck ringing the bell dropping off 6 more pallets of shit for us to try and find somewhere to put out. Some days it seems we are fighting an endless losing battle. Hey I bet that's how the Jackets feel too! HA. In fact we are losing right now 4-0 to the Preds. Oh well bitching usually doesn't do any good so I will stop for now and this is the longest blog I have written in awhile soooooo I hope it does pacify my 2 or 3 readers! I figure I should post something. Sooooooo um my team still sucks. I just don't know about them. Working a lot still going thru the remodel. The store is starting to look good but man it seemed that little bit they were adding on was not all that much space but when they opened it up wow was I wrong. Store seems like it's 2 miles long now. My uncle passed in October. I was happy to see him finally go. He was in alot of pain and he was ready. It was a very sad time but it was also a relief to see him finally go onto a better place where he would not be in pain anymore. It's just funny how when people pass that shit gets so crazy and complicated. The jealousy etc. well not much else I care to get into right now but I am really going to try and post more often cause I know a few people check here now and than. So until next time.............
Okay well Been a busy girl. Went to Canada for 2 days it was a great trip. Nice to get away and just go. Our hotel was sooooo nice we stayed at the Sheraton. We stayed on the 21st floor with a view of the falls. We had ceiling to floor windows and you could open the windows and hear the falls. Had a jacuzzi tub that was nice too. I so need to get one of those with the job I have. Lots of being on the feet all day and lifting etc. Anyways we were going to stay 3 days but we did and seen everything we wanted to the second day there. So we saved a few bucks and came home early. Canada was expensive. I do know to expect that that when your going to a big tourist attraction. Even still with their 3 taxes it gets pricey. We rode the maid of the mist and it goes right up to the falls it was so beautiful. I have some great pics and will probablly post some here soon. Well the remodel is in full swing at the store right now and it's getting crazy in there. So far though my stress levels have been at a minimum which is good. I just can't wait to see the finished product. It is starting to come together some but we still have a long way to go and many more headaches with it. It won't be anything we cannot handle. I just need to keep telling myself that ha ha.
Onto other things we will have to start getting into house hunting mode hardcore here soon. Things are starting to happen and we will have probably another 4-6 months. I soooo hate to move. There is way to much shit in this house to pack. It is amazing how much you accumulate in five years. I probably have more stuff than most people just because of my mother. Everytime I go to her house she is sending something home with me. This being our first home though I have learned what I like and what I don't and what I know I would like and what I won't like. So hopefully we can find something darn close to perfect. Something smaller would be nice as well. Not so much house to clean.
Hockey season is starting soon. I am getting sorta excited because this should be our best season ever and even without greedy Zherdev hopefully we at least make it to the playoffs. It will be crazzzy at natiowide arena if we do.
I did also manage to go to the fair this summer that was fun. I have been trying to go to visit my aunt and uncle every other week or so. I went there last week to take my cousin to the sweet corn festival. I promised her I would since I didn't get to take her to the fair. My uncle has lost some more weight but seems to be doing okay all things considered. My mom was saying she thinks 2 weeks but I think he will be around maybe till October or so. I know it is going to crush my mom. It's gonna be a very sad time. I do know though I have learned from all this to not take time or life for granted. You just never know what is in store for you. Don't wait for retirement to take that vacation or pick up a hobby you have wanted to try just go out and do it because there is no guarentee that tomorrow will come.
I do know that after all this remodel stuff and before the holidays kick into full gear we are gonna so be in need for a party night. It will happen. We are all gonna need it and darn it I will make it happen. So get ready friends it will be good times. Soon as I know a final date it will be time to plan.
I am sure I missed a bunch of stuff but maybe on my next blog I will get around to it. So now I have blogged and certain people can shut up. I know I should be nice. After all it is one of your domains and all and you have so kindly given me one to share my thoughts with the world or more likely just the 4 or 5 people that do check it out. Anyways this should keep you quiet for a few days.
