Went to a Jackets game they won and there was a shootout. It was pretty cool. Lots of suspense. Been working everyday. Fun. Tomorrow I get to convert my promo aisle to Christmas . Then the following 2 days I am going to another store to do the same for them and get them ready for a visit. It makes for a long week but 16 hours of OT. So it also makes for lots of extra money. That is always a good thing. We might be on strike next week so I will be able to use the extra money. Not that I would be able to cross the picket line and get it though! Hopefully it won't go down that way though. Time will tell.

Tonight was Trick-or-Treat here. Seen lots of cute little costumes and a few who were like probably on the verge of being to old to be out Trick-or-Treating. Always have fun passing out the candy. Had my Yellow Lab Colby out on the front stoop with me. He was like uh why the heck you givin all the candy away?? I basically had to have him outside cause he was barking up a storm and would not shut-up. He was pretty well behaved though and he got a few pats on the head so he was a happy camper. Even though it was pretty mild out as the evening went on my feet got cold and they are still cold. Might have to go take a hot bath to warm up. Went shopping the other day for a few essentials and some jeans. All my others were pretty ragged from work and were basically falling apart. My mom went with me and she bought me a holiday Barbie for Christmas and then after we crusied the mall for a few hours we went out to dinner at Cracker Barrel. I love their food. So it was great and had fun spending time with my mom. She is having a pretty major surgery on the 10th so it will be awhile before we can go out and shop and do dinner. I think that pretty much wraps it up for now so until next time kids................Trick-or-Treat!

Okay so been a few days so let's see. I went to the doctor on Monday lost some weight woo hoo! I don't know where from but hey I am not complaining eithier. Anyways it was just a follow-up. So she wants to draw some blood no big deal. So the nurse comes to get me takes me to the vampire room. Anyways there is a new nurse in there and Jennifer the regular person who draws the blood is there as well. Anyways she is going to let this woman do the extraction. So I say well I hope your good I have difficult veins. She said " Oh no then you better do it". So they tie my arm and Jennifer is like oh there is a good one right there. Has the other lady feel it. I say " Now your just showing off because you have had trouble before" Needless to say the new lady goes for it and well my vein rolls. Nextttt so Jennifer trys down by my wrist I do have a good vein there. Not happening. Soo Jennifer decides to try again in the crease of my arm with a different hole not to far from the first. This time I mention to her though to try a smaller needle and you know what???? The shit still did not work. So now they have no blood and I have 2 bruises. I get to go back Friday on my other day off pay another ten dollar co-pay and be pricked again.

I also went to the Jackets game monday night. What a huge waste of my time. I will say though we did manage to score this time and we scored first. So initally I was thinking wow maybe last Sat night was a really bad fluke (even though I managed to miss that one). NOT. Needless to say we were creamed 6-2 but not totally shut-out this time. Anyways it was so bad that I wanted to leave after the second period. We stayed till there was about 10 left in the third. The score was at that point 5-2 and there was no coming back. No point in staying and the red wings were getting ready to go on another power play in which they had scored like 3 of their goals already that night on power plays. Just was not interested in seeing them get that sixth goal. It's getting really hard to be a fan and try to keep supporting a team that seems even worse their fifth season. Which at this point it should be the exact opposite. People keep saying well wait till nash is back. Um well yeah he is great one of the best players in the NHL but in all reality he cannot be expected to carry the rest of the teams sorry asses. Yeah I said it harsh words I know but it's the truth pure and honest at this point. I will say Tyler has had quite a few shots on net but no goals. I don't know what's going on but the other night they just did not seem to be there or in the game. We did get a few crappy calls. Like a five min penalty that totally benefited the wings. Anyways enough about hockey maybe tonight we will do better. I won't know till after I get off of work though I get to play manager on duty tonight! If not tonight maybe Friday when I do get to go see us play the Wild but I don't know how many more maybe's I can take.

Off to other things I wrote my schedule for next week. Had it pretty much done and I call my manager like hey are we getting that new guy for sure next week he said yeah talk to the front end manager. Anyways he also asked me if me and Anth could work till midnight on Sat with him. I was like uh why. DUH I totally forgot next week our contract is up November 5th and we go to vote on the 6th. So he was worried about people coming in and doing stupid stuff. If we strike I hope it's for the right reasons. I hope we can come to a contract that is fair. I also hope it's not for to long if we do it at all. My husband and I both work there so that is both our incomes. So time will tell and until that time I don't know what's going on.

Yesterday at work my manager says to me you already write your schedule? Yeah why? Him- You have to go work at maxtown road store next week Wed and Thurs. Me- Why? They are having a visit and I get to help them build their Christmas aisle. So 7 days for me next week kids and 16 hours of OT. I am gonna be hella tired. I am doing my own aisle on Tuesday. I have everyone in my dept scheduled that day that I can. So we can bust it out and be done with it. I am a little concerned this will be Anth's first big conversion and Sarah Sue has only dabbled in doing promo with us a few times. So nothing like throwing them in there and saying just get it done and make it look pretty! Good times ahead next week...I will keep ya posted. Let's talk about this whole karma situation. So you seen my whole entry about how the person at the gas station backed into a concrete wall? Yeah well friday morning I backed into my trash can. So I managed to bust my tailight. My hubby put the can right behind my truck I was in a hurry and did not notice it. Anyways karma bit me in the ass.

Then Friday night went to the Jackets game watched them beat San Jose. That was actually a fun game to be at. Not only because we won but it sorta looked like we were a different team. Well I think we were a different team. I think Pod people had taken over the bodies of our players and left because Sat we got our asses kicked by the Red wings 6-0. Good thing I stayed home that night! Anyways something has to give with these guys or it's gonna be time to re-consider even bothering with season tickets. Yeah I said it. No fun to shell out hard earned money to watch your team consistantly lose. Hell not even lose but get massacred.

Speaking of scary stuff it's almost Halloween! My favorite holiday of the year. I love they run all kinds of scary movies this time of year. Saw 2 will be out soon cannot wait to see it. I really liked the first one. This one is supposed to be scarier and bloodier than the first my kind of movie. As long as I know it's not real it does not bother me.

Well today went to the pumpkin show with the hubby. For once I did not see one person that I knew. First time for everything I guess. Anyways we were walking down Main Streetin Circleville. So we were almost out of cigarettes so the hubby stops at this gas station on the corner to buy some and I wait outside well this gas station was in a akward place not to mention kind of small. Anyhow Brian comes out and we start walking towards where we parked and we hear this big crash and we turn around and this lady yells Son-of-a. It was so very funny. Someone back right into a huge brick wallwith a guardrail. Uh hello how could you miss that? Anyways it was funny as hell.

Guess there is drama at work about different things. Sometimes people just need to mind their own business. Also learning to keep their mouth shut would be nice too. That is never gonna happen though. Such is life.

Anyhow Jackets game tomorrow and Saturday. I swear if we lose both of those games I am gonna be pissed. We have only won 1 of our games. It was of course on the road. There has only been one home game so far. It's getting old to see us going nowhere year after year. Might have to switch up to the cheap seats.

Well today was Tony's last day. I was not there to see him off but I will get a card for later. Take him out for dinner for congrats. November 11th is the Breaking Benjamin concert. I cannot wait should be fun. Tony is gonna be there too. I hope he does well in his new store at his new position. Anyhow I have nothing else to say at this moment other than .... Colder weather sucks.

Yeah so I seen in an email today at work only 73 days till Christmas. What The F%ck? Anyways I am not prepared and really have no motivation to do so. Thing is we could be on strike in November. Scary thing is that is both of our incomes. So who knows what will or could happen.

Jackets game is on. They are in Anaheim CA. Playing the ducks. I have to say it's pretty sad to look at their arena there is like hardly anyone there in the lower bowl to support their team. I guess Ducks fans are not as forgiving with the strike and all. Could be a good thing for us though. No fans to cheer them on so no intimidation from their home crowd. Unfortunatly not the case the other night when we played San Jose in their season home opener.

Some good news we were the first store in our zone certified on our new big program that the company is all about right now. So thats one less thing to worry about. Thing is they can come in anytime and take away our certification so we have to maintain. Once we get real comfortable and familiar with the whole process it should not be a big deal. Everyone in my dept. is getting into the whole groove of the thing.

Sarah had the past 2 days off what was I thinking? Duh she is my back-up this week. Not to mention she does not have to go in till 10 am tomorrow while I have to go in at 8 am ewww. After I worked till 8 pm tonight. If you know me I am soooo not a morning person. Damn you Sarah! I should be going in at 10. Anyways it's just me and the girls tomorrow and I hope we can get a bunch of stuff busted out tomorrow. Thing is we just recieved 15 pallets of Christmas stuff today. Some of it candy and some of it wrap, bows, bags and etc. Retail can really make one jaded as far as the holidays go.

Last night at about 7:30 I was sitting on the couch with the hubby when the doorbell rang. Well we were not expecting anyone. Anyways the dogs started barking like crazy and Brian had to fight thru them to answer the door so anyways he gets the door open and someone had left a cute little Halloween cup with candy in it and a note about it being the neighborhood phantom. So your supposed to make copies and do the same to 3 people in your neighborhood. I thought it was so cute and we really have no idea who did it cause they dropped the candy and ran. Too cute. Anyways I took it work made copies and I did do one of the three so far. I thought it was a cute and nice thing to do. Makes it really cool that we don't know who did it. It also talks about how it is nicer to give than recieve.
I guess we are having a thing at the store for the kids for Halloween. I have to figure out how I want my department to participate. We get to dress up. Woo hoo. No Hoochie outfits eithier Sarah. None of the guys will get anything done. HA. Anyways that is all I have to contribute to the world wide web today. Lookie at what Dave still had in his puter! I cannot find my copy but I do know it is here somewhere. Anyways it's me and Tyler. That was a happy day right there. I got to talk to him andddddd he had his arm around me. He signed my Tyler jersey and some other stuff and he was super nice. Great guy and now my mission is to meet him again get another picture and have him sign my Game worn Tyler Wright jersey. Anyways had to share that cool pic with everyone.

Well I noticed Dave mentioned on his blog that he wanted to re-vamp my site. Well uh buddy we have to meet online and talk about it at one point or another. Anyhow someday we will be on here at the same time. I am excited though cause I know he will come up with something hella cool. He just needs to stop working funky hours and always having the weekends off. You work in retail WTF ? Weekends off?!?! That shit would never happen at K-Rogers. Good thing you don't work there huh?

Anyways the Jackets played Chicago the other night on the road and they WON! Yeah I said they won! Exciting stuff kids. One of the guys we traded Sanderson for scored a goal. Probably was a awesome trade after all huh ? I guess time will tell if the new guys we got in the trade keep delivering. Sanderson is one of the fastest guys in the NHL but he has hot and cold spells and well he has mostly been cold as of late and yeah I know the season just started but I am talking the one before that and half of the one even before the previous. Anyways he is a awesome skater and has the scoring potential so maybe a change of scenery will do him good. I know the Jackets certainly stepped it up the game after he was swapped. Like uh oh better get down to business or it could be us next. Nothing like a little incentive to do the trick sometimes. Scoring goals = Job security.

Well don't know if I mentioned it or not but I am losing another one of my workers to another store. He was promoted to back-up. I think he will do fine and I am happy for him. Woo hoo go Twhee. Anyways now I have to get some new help. This is always interesting. Never know what your gonna get. Thing is we post within the store and well I get to pick so hopefully someone decent signs it. Plus I am gonna have another employee pissed because she is getting moved to days. I warned her and Anth warned her and well she did not listen. She ended up putting us behind on Monday morning not a good thing. We had a plan to get things done for our big certification test on Friday. So we are behind because we had to pick up her slack. Thing is she may end up quitting since we are moving her to days which all in all is not a bad thing. I like the girl but she just does not get it done when it needs to be done. Glad I won't be there Thursday when the schedule is posted and well if she calls me Friday to bitch I am sending her straight to the man who told me to put her on days. Just doing what I was told to do.

I think the pumpkin show is next week and I am way excited. That is one of my favorite things to do. Go to the pumpkin show eat all kinds of pumpkin stuff like ice cream etc... Plus it's the last time of the year to get fair food. So you know where I will be. Also seen the preview tonight on t.v. for the sequel to the movie SAW. I loved that movie and I hope the second one is as good as the original. Probably go see it the first night it is out if me and Brian can swing it.

Another cool thing is me and Sarah Sue and Nick and a bunch of other people we know ( I Think) are going to see Breaking Benjamin on November 11th. Cannot wait. There is a hockey game that night but Brian is taking Tobey cause it's the Oilers and Brian always takes Tobey to an oliers game so it all works out. Anyway it should be good times. Which reminds me Sarah I will remember one od these days to bring your cd into work HA! It's mine now j/k. Anyhow kids until next time be anxiously awaiting a change to this site soon.

Yeah so the Jackets lost the home opener at Nationwide Arena. Bummer. I have never been to a home opener where we lost. We looked bad. Not horrible but coulda woulda shoulda been better. Anyways regardless they traded a few guys after that game. One was a veteran player for the team. Anyways I guess it had to happen. We did win tonight on the road though. 3-2 against Chicago. Anyhow nice to see us get a win on the road. Also at the home game had some ass beside me talking shit about Tyler the whole night. Knowing that I was sitting next to him and had a Tyler Jersey on. Needless to say it was hard to keep my mouth shut. I did shoot them a few dirty looks and they noticed. I just hope I am not stuck next to these asses all season.

Been working and trying to get on this new program we have going at work all the while with my back-up on vacation and I also have a managment trainee. Sarah is my acting back-up though. I am sure she will do fine and we will get this crap done so we can get certified. Also learned this week one of my guys got a promotion so he will be leaving within a few weeks so I need to get me some people in my department and trained before the holidays. I always like to see someone who has worked with me get promoted and go on. Anyways not much else to say I am hella tired could not sleep for nothing last night sooo another day and then some on about 2 hours sleep if that. So until next time kids.......... HA actually nothing was broken! Not that I know of anyhow. Anyways it was party celebrating the NHL being back. Jackets first game of the season was on the road so therefore had a party at home. Needless to say they lost. We have never been a strong road game team. Anyways hope that soon changes but some habits are hard to break. Had a good time. Most of the people invited showed up. Brian Parsons got drunk he was funny as hell. We played some UNO and Scattergories. Good times. You never know what the hell kind of an answer people are going to come up with. Bought some cool decorations Sarah helped and things looked good. Get this the total came out to 28 dollars even! I was like is that weird or what? My Tyler's number. I was hoping it was an omen to the fact he would kick ass in last night's game scoring some goals or something. It turned out he was just always around when some ass kicking was about to take place fights etc. He was on Fritche's line though and F. scored twice. So that helps his +/- average on the ice.

Okay now some Rants. I had some kind of thing that hijacked my computer address bar. Yeah well my Buddy Dave told me to do a partial system restore. I was thinking uh yeah where in the hell am I gonna find that shit etc.... Anyways I found it and I did it. It worked. So now when I am surfing my puter does not pull up this about blank website and lock my explorer all up! I am cool woo hoo! Thanks to Dave for again bailing me out. Another rant we lost. Damn Jackets. Also Nash left in the middle of the game and well no word on what exactly is wrong or if he will be playing tomorrow. I hope he is fine and that he can play tomorrow. The Jackets need him like a fish needs water.

Now to the good news tomorrow is the first official home game! I thought this day would never get here! Bunch of people I know are going it's going to be good times. Gonna party after the game too!Before the game as well. Good times shall be had. Anyways kids till next time......GAME ON GO JACKETS!

Well tonight was the last game of the pre-season. We played a rival of ours and we got our asses handed to us. It's all good though. It's pre-season! Not to mention Tyler got a goal. It was the lone goal scored but hey he made it so we would not be shut-out. Also for the pre-season they are having shoot-outs at the end of the game. So Brian says who do you think they will put out there? I say Tyler. He is like do you think so? I said well uh yeah he did get the one goal of the game that would be the thing to do. Anyways he was the second guy to go and you know what?? He got another one! He played a good hard game tonight. He was fast and he was trying all night to score and he did. Anyways I got to meet Mr. Mclean and he told me Tyler was safe right now. So that was way cool. Thanks and kudos to Mike for introducing me to him and allowing me to say what I wanted. Anyways I think Tyler has shown he wants to be on the team and deserves to be here. He also has an assist in the pre-season. So here is to Tyler being around for awhile longer.

Now to rant. It is like 12:30 in the morning and I have to go in at 4 am to help with tags which sucks. Anth called me Sat saying could you please come in and help sooo me being the nice person I am say sure. I know if I don't I would be doing them at 10 am when I would have originally went in anyhow. It's better to have them done way before that time. Anyhow hard to believe my last vacation of the year is over. It did not seem to go as fast as the others. Which is a good thing but still the fact that it is over is depressing. Now I get to go thru the holidays which is busy stressful time. I am used to it. Still does not make it any easier. Anyways I am entitled to rant and that is what I am doing. Anyhow I know this come about 10am I will not be a pleasant person to be around. I don't think I am going to get much sleep tonight!

Well Wed. night is the par-tay at my house! Celebrating the first game of the season. Cannot wait. Also Friday is the first home game and I tell you this we better win! We always win the home opener. Good times ahead kids. Not to mention "The man" Nash will be back. I do hope we have a much better season this year than previous.We have to do better.

I went to see my friend the other day and her new baby. She is a doll. I feed and burped her she fell asleep. All babies fall asleep when I get them. I suppose that is a good thing. Then I got to give her a bath in her little baby tub thing. She was being a good baby. Then the guys stayed home with the baby and the gals went out to the bar. We played darts and I won twice woo hoo! Anyways I was the desiginated driver. So I only had 2 drinks. It was still good times though. We had not been out in a long ass time together.Anyways kids no it is time for me to debate if I should just go ahead and go in. Anyhow till next time kids........... Go see a damn hockey game already! If I have not convinced you by now I just don't know what else to do!
