A day late but Happy Turkey Day to everyone. I had a decent Turkey day. My brother and niece were in town and I made dinner again it was great!I worked till about 1:30 than came home and got to work on dinner when it was all said and done I was beat. So I crashed for a little bit. My poor yellow lab had 2 seizures yesterday so he went to the vet today. He now has to be on medication. Also found he has a bad knee so that explains why he has been acting strange about things like jumping up on the bed etc. Anyways I cannot believe he is having all these problems he is only 3 years old. So that was yesterday. I slept in today which was way overdue. Took the dog to the vet had some lunch went to my mom's to pick up my niece we were going to go to the movies but she has already seen everything. So we ended up going shopping grabbing some dinner at DQ then out to shop some more. I am going to get her tomorrow after work so she can come spend the night with me. I know work is going to be boring tomorrow it's always slow after Turkey day. In fact usually thw whole week after. Maybe I can get out of there early who knows. I also spent way 2 much money today but hey why not. I also bought myself a comforter set I have wanted forever so Merry Christmas to me from me. It's a denim comforter and got some cute sheets to match it. They are striped and all different colors. They were both onsale and I had a 15% off coupon for my entire order.
Well I did not go to the Jackets game tonight cause I was spending time with my niece kind of glad I didn't. We lost 5-0. No big surprise nowdays. I am just dissapointed with the organization beyond words. We are seriously considering giving up the PSL's for now. Monetary reasons and just because we suck. It's no fun at all anymore. Seems like a waste of time to go there. When it's all over you feel like okay there was 3 hours of my life I will never get back. I guess Tyler scored a gaol with the Ducks a few nights ago. Woo hoo. To bad he could not be here to do that. Yeah I am still bummed about that whole trade business.
Well kids I am outta here for now so until next time...... It's the most horrible time of the yearrrrrr.
I still am way bummed about Tyler being traded and I just don't have quite the desire to attend any of the games anymore. It also does not help that we soo still suck even though we accquired Sergi Fedorov in the trade. Guess I will be happy to attend the Ducks games only because Tyler will be there. It gets to much sometimes to have to run to 2 or three games a week. Hockey runs through the holidays and cold and flu season etc. Sometimes I just wish that we could go to like maybe 10 games a year rather than 40-45. Anyways I don't know if I am burnt out or what I still love the game but it gets old sometimes too. I would imagine that the team doing horribly now more than ever is not helping matters. This has been my feelings for awhile now even before the whole Tyler being traded issue happened. Oh well maybe things will improve maybe not.
Onto other things we will not be striking which is good all in all. We have to pay some on the insurance now and there is a deductable but it's withing a reasonable amount. Dental and Vision improved. So there were some pros and cons . The biggest thing is we don't get a raise until August of 06. My company is giving us a 700 dollar tax free gift card. Nice but still pisses me off that it will be almost 2 years for me without a raise. I guess they think this 700 dollar gift card should compensate? Not to mention every penny on it is basically going back to them. I mean where else can we use that gift card? So they just basically invested in themselves. Also they are going to give GM dept heads and the assistants a total of $1.90 worth of raises in the 3 year period of this contract. So no raise until august then in 9 months i wil get a 75 cent raise and then in about another 9 months we will get 85 cents. So Gm made out the best as far as raises go but the whole reason we will get the biggest ones is we ae the lowest paid dept heads always have been and even after all this we will be making 25 cents less then the department heads. Which I think still sucks we should all be equal at least they are finally attempting to close the gap. So now in three years we will have to go through all this drama again rather than in five. Good times for me. Still I think it could have gone much much worse. It did not though and the benefits were better than they orignally proposed.
Turkey day is around the corner and I again get to host it at my house and be responsible for the whole mess. So last year which was my first time must have not been to bad. My brother is coming and bringing my niece so I will get to spend some time with her. It's hard to believe she is 10 now. Anyways Friday she and I will have a fun girls day. Maybe hit the movies do some shopping something cool. Last time I was in PA i did not get to spend but about 20 mins with her because I ended up staying at my sisters house with her and my 2 nephews. I think this will be the second time if not the first I have ever spent Thanksgiving with my brother. Last year was the first time I spent Thanksgiving with my sister ever. Crazy stuff but a long story behind it all. They are my half siblings and their Dada ran off with them and my mom did not know where they were for years and one day my brother found her and well ever since we try to get together whenever possible. Not much else to say tonight kids sooo until next time "You must be out of your mind this was a simple design you fuck it up everytime how could you leave me behind?" Night and sweet dreams.
Not much else to say other than he went to the Mighty Ducks of all teams, which I do not like. Anyways I will always support him and his causes just not his team. He will be missed by many fans here in Columbus he was a great guy, great player. and a great person for the community. I did get to talk to him on the phone for my birthday which not many people can say and he was very cool about it all. Best of luck Tyler you will be missed!

Let's start with the BLUE JACKETS. I am so mad. Went to the game today, yeah well we were running a few mins behind. So we get in the building the score was 1-0 the Kings had one shot on goal and they scored?? WTF? Anyways we no sooner get in the building start to walk to our seats they score again on their second shot on goal. Yeah so we are like okay maybe we should just leave now but 2 goals are not that hard to come back from unless your the BLUEJACKETS. So we figure we will go find Mike our buddy at the arena find him and no sooner then we find him they score again. They pull the goalie. So we talk to him a few grab a soda and peanuts go outside have a smoke so as we are coming in Brian is like yeah it should be 4-0 by now. As we are coming in some people were heading out like wow it's 4-0 already in the first period. We just shook our heads so then we get to our seats. The team actually got boo'd after the period ended and they were going back to the locker room.Then the second period comes along and we get a goal I did not clap get up cheer nothing. I was like yeah if they can do that 4 more times then I will be impressed. Anyways During the second period the Kings get up to 7 goals there was like 2 minutes left in the period and I look at Brian he was like you ready and I was like yep. So we left in the second period. So we get home he had the T.V. on Fox sports and they get another goal. I turned it. We are so switching to the cheap seats. It is insane to pay $144.00 A GAME to watch that shit time after time. They should pay us! I also think it's time for heads to start rolling. Let's start at the top with our GM . Then on down the rooster. We are a joke now more than ever. We are into year five we should be better than this by now. No more frickin excuses like injuries and Nash not being there. He cannot carry the whole team.
Now onto other things on my mind still do not know if we are going to strike. They have been in negotiations and they are still on healthcare. Uh well the ten day extension is fast approaching. Like Wed at midnight. So I hope they all get their thinking caps on and come up with something fair before have to strike. I mean if that is what needs to be done to make a point than so be it. Thanksgiving is coming fast and they need us so it will be their own fault.
Friday night went to the Breaking Benjamin concert saw Anth for like a second and then we headed down to the floor area. Yeah we got real close but with some hell to pay all the while. Sarah. Nick, Andy and myself went together. We tried looking upstairs for a good spot nothing. So we went downstairs to the packed floor. Yeah by that time I had 3 Bacardi O's 12 bucks and no buzz. LOL Nothing not even close I was like WTF not buying that shit again. Anyways the first band was not all that impressed. Then smile empty soul came on they were pretty good but it was hot on the floor soo Sarah and I decide to go get another drink and just get outta there that was when I bought my 3 Bacardi. So I found out we could outside to smoke so we went out I smoked and Sarah hung out and we cooled off. So then we go back onto the main floor for BB. Everyone decides to crowd surf yeah touching major ass again and then this chick come from the side outta nowhere and i get kicked/landed on my head and it hurt my neck and bent my glasses. There were some guys up in there seriously to big to be crowd surfing cause the area we were standing was like a bunch of girls and Sarah got kicked in the nose but not hard enough to leave a mark or anything. So anyways BB rocked great show. I had fun and we were pretty close and they sounded awesome. We also got to push some people around always fun. So Nick saved our asses a few times from guys that were over us he threw one of em and he hit the floor noone caught his ass he was to big but he hit his head it was funny. Not enough to do damage just a little knock on the floor. Then some girl was shoved into the back of Sarah's head real hard didn't hurt Sarah but the girl grabbed her nose and was holding it. Anyways good times.

It has been a few since I have updated. I have been a busy girl. Working non-stop, going to games. You name it. Anyways still don't know if we are going to be on strike they are still in negotiations. Who knows. Just something else to worry about. Work otherwise has been okay. Just have lots to do between now and December 25th. The mecca of all retail holidays. Since about 2 weeks ago we have been getting stuff rolling in our back door non-stop. As always no where to put it. They have all these new rules on how they want things displayed and where. So if they want these standards to happen then maybe they should lighten up on the stuff they keep pushing out to the stores. At least I am in a bigger store and not one of the small ones who literally have no where to put this stuff.
Anyhow went and seen Saw 2 a few nights back. I think it was a great sequel and that is a rarity. Makes you wonder though where these people come up with this stuff. I liked it though still some twists you did not quite see coming like the first one which makes it great. Went to the Jackets game last night and they won. Course that was kind of expected they were playing the worst team in the NHL lol. We are one place in front of them. Anyways there were some fights and I imagine since a big one took place at the end of the game when we meet up with them again next Wed. there will be retribution. One of our guys that we just got back #97 Klesla had his hand broken in the whole mess. Not surprised though he is always out with an injury.
Today my mom had surgery. It was weird seeing her in the hospital. You know kind of makes you reflect back. Like when I was a kid my mom was there when I had my tonsils out and had tubes put in my ears etc... So she was the one there taking care of me or making me eat or go to the bathroom and take my meds. Here I was today in that role. Just weird. I am sure when I was kid she had some procedure or something but nothing like this that I recall. It is hard to see your mom there in the bed in pain and kind of hlepless if you will. She has always been my my rock you know. The one who was there for me moving things along and I was kind of in that role today. Just felt that I had to try and express some of that somehow. Her surgery did go well though and even though she really did not want to she did have to stay overnight which I think is a good thing. She is 59 now and sometimes she is stubborn and hard-headed. Yeah so now you know where I get it. Anyways she is in a good hospital and has good care. I really liked her nurses that she had today so I am not worried about her. Anyways not much else to update other than I am going to see Breaking Benjamin tomorrow night looking forward to that. So until next time kids... Never order than more than one of anything! Yeah let's talk about stuff. I worked my seven days this week and I was feeling it today no doubt. Well I guess we go vote tomorrow whether to strike or not. So this means if they have a certain percentage of the vote to strike we can send the union lady back into negotiations with that on her side. I guess they are going to go back to the table giving my company 7- 10 days of good faith negotiations. So next week we will be working on an extended contract.After those 7-10 days and nothing is approved then we walk the picket line. It's gonna suck. If we go on strike no funds. I suppose if that is what we have to do to get something better than what they are offering (which right now is not all that great) then that is what needs to be done and hopefully it works in our favor. If we have to even go there hopefully it won't be for long.
Some other stuff to talk about is the Jackets. Not much to say other than we are sucking like no other lol. We start the game getting the first goal keep the other team for scoring for awhile and somewhere between all that they manage to get 2 or 3 goals. Not to mention our star player Rick Nash was injured his second game back. WTF ? This sucks. I was really thinking yeah this is gonna be the year we are going to do so much better. Uh well it has yet to happen and it's not looking good. I am guessing we will have a new coach and Gm here before long. Probably a whole new team . I thinks it's the Ohio curse. All of our pro-teams suck. The Bengals are doing great though so the Pod people must be visiting them on a regular basis.
I was supposed to work 4 to 12 midnight tonight well that did not happen. My early person called off so they called me at 10 am like yeah the store manager wants u to come in so I am like okay. So I have some breakfast get ready and go in at noon. I was in a pissy mood to begin with I was giving customers dirty looks etc. LOL. Not a good thing I know so I took a break had a mountain dew and a smoke. I think I needed the caffeine or something it helped. Plus I was like yes I get to sleep way in on Saturday and basically be a slug till 3. NOT. They totally goobered up my day. I am so not a morning person and I have been getting up super early and working all this week no joke. I am off tomorrow which is a good thing plus I am so sleeping most of the day. I do have to go to the fair grounds at some point and vote though. Then I get to go in at midnight and hang like a zillion tags. I was like WTF? Why do I always get the big ass million price changes when it's my week? Everynow and than I luck out and get an easy week. If one of the others who do tags though get a bunch I am usually helping them finish them up. They are still learning and getting into the swing of it though and someday they will rock at tags like me.
On another note I am thinking Monday is gonna be the night I finally get to see Saw 2. Yeah me and Sarah already said if the guys don't go we are gonna find some other hot guys to go with us and we will go without their butts. Yeah no joke I am tired of waiting I am so wanting to see it already. Well I think that is all I have to say tonight.
