So today was my first official day of vacation. I slept in got up had some lunch. Then I got ready and went to Payne's sixth birthday party. That is always cute they are the best at that age. Got to see the baby and all ten of the puppies. Held one of them named Capone and he just licked my face and then the little terd started biting me. He was hungry. Anyways they were all like awww he really likes you and you should take him home. I was like no. Then Steph is saying I wish someone I know would take one of my puppies. You should take one Lisa and I said sure you gonna pay the vet bills? So she says welll I am giving you the puppy free. So I say you gonna pay the vet bills? Needless to say no puppy for me and that is just fine. My three are more than enough.

Not much else going on today just relaxing. Might be going to Pittsburgh Tues and Wed. Don't know yet. I severly short on funds. I also want to paint my dining room but again short on funds. Well at work a few nights ago one of our older cashiers was mugged in the parking lot. Sad thing. I mean she is an older lady and she works 2 jobs. I mean come on people your gonna mug someone who works for Kroger? Most of the people employed there are only part time and do not make all that much money. Anyways the person got her purse knocked her down in the process and I guess kinda drug her getting her purse off her arm. So her one leg was bruised and scratched up. Anyways some people got together at the store and took up a collection which I think was great. She had no cash on her but her checkbook and ID and some credit cards were in there. I heard they found her checkbook the next day. It just bugs me how low people will stoop. It's sad. Anyways that is all for now. Yeah so work is work. Been going in and doing the daily grind as usual. Things have been going well though getting shit together slowly but surely. I have a great crew for the most part and they are really pulling together to get things right and because of it all of our jobs have gotten that much easier. We have some more time for fun. Which is always a good thing at work. Our store manager came back from his vaca today he went to the Bahamas and he is seriously dark. Lucky........

Um hockey is better we have been winning some more games but it's a bit late to start to be getting to where we should have been like at the begininng of the season. I actually sat in my seats the whole game the other night. A little bit better but I still like downstairs the best. I also met up with this girl who I started chatting with in an NHL chatroom. She lives in the same neighborhood as me. Small world and she is a huge Jackets fan. Nice girl and it was great to finally meet her. Great game as well that night. Nash won it in OT for us and the goal he made was outstanding. We have three games to go to this week so it's gonna be tough. I guess we are having a game night this Wed. here at the house too. Good times right there kids. I hope Sarah Sue gets buzzed again she is so frickin funny.

Other good news in exactly 4 days at exactly 3pm I will be leaving my job to start my weeklong vacation. I don't have any plans to go anywhere or any cash to go anywhere but Whoooo the hell cares? Not me cause I won't have to go to work for a week. I would like do some painting in the house. Probably the dining room. I also need to go to Pittsburgh to take my neice and my nephews their Christmas. I hate the drive but I have to go otherwise I would not get to see them. My sister was acutally here in C-bus the other day but she was beat had about an hours worht of sleep and I had to work early the next morning so I told her I would be in PA in a week and we could see each other than. I guess she brought her new man. Cannot wait to meet him. His name is Pat. She has been seeing him awhile. So I suppose he is a nice guy. We shall see.

I am also trying like hell to get my finances in order and get out of some this debt I have accrued. It's taking time but slowly but surely some of it is dissapearing. Not as quickly as I would like but it is going away. It's so easy to all of the sudden be in debt and be like WTF happened? Hey live and learn. Seems like it's way easier to get into some credit card debt than to get out of it. I am gonna do it though. I do not want to file bankruptcy and lose my excellent credit. Not just that even. I got into this mess so I am learning my lesson. I will say this damn house that is way overpriced does not help matters but again live and learn. Well kids that is all for now but until next time.. Well here it is. Not much going on. Nothing to say really. Jackets have been winning and I have not been to like the last 4 or so home games. Maybe I was bad karma for them or something. Anyways work is work. Been busy getting stuff together before the big re-model. Taking a vaca here soon. Cannot wait. Just a whole week of not having to go to work. Can'r beat that. To start off Happy New Year to everyone! Not much has been going on. Had a new years party was good times. Yeah we like to have party's here if you have not noticed. Played a few games, drank some alcohol, listened to some tunes and just had a good time. People got drunk puked outside not sure where but hope I never step in it. HA!
Also finally got to see Tyler again that was nice. Course it was all wrong. He had the ugliest jersey on ever. A Ducks jersey ewwwwwwww. He had lots of fans there though with signs and their Tyler jersey's on. I was one of them. I stood by the hallway where the players go back to their locker rooms when they come off the ice and I seen him up close he smiled at us while chewing a big wad of gum. Nice. He and the other 2 Jackets traded to the Ducks along with him were in the starting line up and well he tried really hard to score a goal. I was really thinking we were going to get creamed in this game but that was not at all the case. In fact we won by one goal scored late in the third by a Duck. Ha. Good stuff there kids. I was also outside between periods having a smoke and this guy taps me on the shoulder like excuse me. So I turn around like yeah ? He says I was brave to be wearing that jersey. I was like uh excuse me??He was like well he does not even play for our team anymore. I said well you see this guy is my favorite player always will be and I will support him wherever he goes just not his team. He was like well your still brave so I said well in case you did not notice there are quite a few people in this building tonight with the same jersey on. Then he seen my autograph from Ty ect. He kinda got on my nerve. I mean come on dude like I won't wear my jersey anymore just because he is gone. I paid damn good money for it for one thing. Not to mention he played for us five years and well in my eyes he was the man. Maybe not always for his skills on the ice but also for what he did outside of the game within the community. So Bite me nameless stranger. Hell you did not even have one article of CBJ gear on. Your lucky you did not get more of an earful than you did. I was feeling nice that evening apparently.

Well we built my V-day aisle. Yeah, my crazy store manager had us do it on new years eve uh hellooooo it was nuts in there and at one point Anth and I just had to walk away and out of the aisle. The lines were backing up into the aisle and then people were like making shitty comments like " Why are they doing this today this is stupid and worse". So yeah it was in my best interest to walk away otherwise I probably would been fired for going off. I must say in general customers suck. People suck. I mean come on people this holiday falls the same time every damn year and it's not my fault you and everyone else on this side of town decide to rush the store all at the same time. I mean it's not like you did not know it was coming. New Years eve same time every year just a different day. Be there or be square. This goes for every other holiday as well. Then while these assholes are waiting in the long lines they are shooting you dirty looks and making comments like why are all these other people not running register or bagging etc? Well a little clue in folks I am not paid to run register I am on the floor filling all the shit you are waiting till the last minute to buy. Also answering your questions of where is state store etc. Yeah like you cranks need liqour. Course it might mellow some of you out but I highly doubt it. Anyways cause your pissed because YOU waited till the last minute and did not get everything YOU wanted because YOU waited till the last minute don't take it out on me. Yeah I am there to serve the public and help you out however I can but I am not there to be treated like shit. YOU may think I am some kid or adult that JUST works in grocery store but hey guess what I bet in some of your cases I make more than YOU do a year. Yeah I have been with my company a long time and I am not there to be shit on because YOU had a bad day. So please let it be known the cutomers are not always right and I will not stand for it when YOU try to take shit out on me. Thankfully I know when to walk away and the store I am in now is by far better clientel wise than my previous one. There are still the few customers though that make you crazy.

So off to other things... I really don't have much else to say go figure but whew was that a rant up there or what?
Just so you know I did not make any resolutions so can't feel bad for breaking something I did not make huh? There are no home hockey games this week so it's like a mini vacation from all that mess getting off work running downtown in the freezing cold etc. Allthough I will say the weather has been actually fairly nice. I could go for some more sunshine. Well kids I am off to watch a couple of movies I rented so until next time.. Be nice to your local grocery store people.................or else.
