Where to start ?????

Okay so it's been awhile and lots of things have been going on and also lots of nothing as well. I have been trying to go out and see my aunt and uncle once a week now. It's a long drive and tiring but it's family and you do what you need to do. My brother met us up there with my neice last Saturday. It was good to see them both. He is taking this hard. So is my mom. It's sad really. My uncle has worked his whole life kept in pretty good shape and here he is dying of colon cancer. It goes to show life is to short to just work and put off things and then put them off some more. He was supposed to retire this fall. My aunt retired about 6 years ago and got cancer beat it and now she is going thru it all again. I don't know how much longer he has but I don't see him being here for the holidays. It is something we are all gonna have to prepare for because it's not going to be easy and it's gonna kill my mom. I just hope I can be of some comfort to her in one way or another.

We went to Wyandot lake this past Tuesday. Had a good time I did get a little burnt. I think it was because I used that spray on sunscreen but overall it did it's job. Otherwise my pale almost translucent self woulda been in the hospital with sun poisoning or something along those lines. The past few days have been sooooooo HOT . I was dying yesterday and the day before that. It's supposed to let up some tomorrow thank God. I did manage to squeeze a concert in this past Sunday. Went to see Breaking Benjamin @ the newport music hall. I don't think I much like that venue. It was way to crowded and way to packed. It was soooo hot in there too. I sweated sooo much I was like um okay this sucks. I took Paula with me and she loved it and now BB has a new fan. So that was cool. It was a great show they sounded good, looked good, and they did 3 of their new songs off their new album coming out the 8th. I listened to a sneak peak listening party last night and I think there was 1 song I did not totally dig but I ofund my new fave song from them. Called Dance with the Devil. This is def a little of a different sound and style from them but it sooo works. There is one or 2 songs that as soon as they start off your like " Yeah that's Breaking Benjamin". The rest are a bit different and I think I like this album more than their first two but I really like so cold.

Might be going to Canada in a few weeks cannot wait. It will be so nice to take a vacation and actually go somewhere for a few days. Somewhere that I cannot go into my work or even think about it cause there is not one on every other corner. Don't get me wrong I appriciate that I have a job and most days I like it but sometimes you have just got to totally get away. Pretty much after the vacation the whole remodel is going to shift into crazy gear so I think getting away now would be good rather than having to put off the vacation till late late in the year when it's cold and the holidays and hockey season are upon us. Much harder to just up and go than.
